Actually I decided 2 study interior-architecture after visiting an exposition from this Belgian designer. I could see his drawings, touch his prototypes and feel his products.It really gave me the right boost to develop my talents. Unfortunately I couldn't meet him anymore cause he died the day(21/02'05)before. I was really shocked.Belgium lost a great artist. He was a craftsman.He purified and shaped his ideas untill they were similiar 2 his mindsets. You can see very clearly that his designs are very flat, well he first literally carved them out of the material(wood). He was an innovator, an experimentor.I Post-admire this strong-willed man. 4 3 Years he studied architecture at my school (yes I'm proud to be a student of the ST-LUCAS ACADEMY in Ghent).Once the fundament was layed he could find his own way.It's a SUCCES - story of persistence, working hard to become what he was made 4. This man is an example 4 me.
