Waterworld : source of inspiration

Finally,a normal blog. But still not the promised blog about architects in Ghent. Doing some serious research for that. Have mercy! Ok?
Wasn't planning to stuff my blog with You tube vids either, but I guess it helped to fill the gap for you, you hungry designlovers:-)

Waterworld had an enormous impact on me. I could watch it over and over again. I loved kevins catamaran, the little girl was very funny and the enemies were beaten in a very genious way @ the end. Mr Costner was a true water heroe!
But I was captured by this idea of a waterworld. Trading everything you had for a piece of unvaluable paper. Therefore I started using cotton handkerchiefs again.Well at least I'm trying he.My ecologic footstep is still gigantic, but I try to avoid Waterworld as much as I can, allthough it is an intresting way of living, not? But I hope I will never be forced to drink my own(filtered)urine

Found these amazing pictures and waterworld vids during my everlasting surftrip on the world wide ocean of the web:-)Lots of(japanese) architects or constructors were fighting the elements to build their waterparadises for us.And let's not forget Venice. Enjoy them, and get your feet wet.Build a sandcastle at the beach,...Pretend it's your WATERKINGDOM.Heroic feeling isn't it?

Much love
J
